Friday 6-9 PM (for Conductors) - Round Table, Gestural Language for Conductors (Or the art of non-verbal communication!
Saturday 9AM-3:30PM (for everyone) - Warmups for church musicians, physical & vocal technique, how to introduce and learn new music, strategies to improve choral tone and sound overall.
Juliana Woodill is the Conductor and Artistic Director of the Archdiocesan Choir of Washington, D.C. A graduate of Westminster Choir College summa cum laude in Music Education and Musical Theater, she has led choirs in both church and school settings and currently directs at All Saints of America Orthodox Church and Fairfax High School in Virginia. She has presented workshops nationally, conducted at international Orthodox music conferences, and served as a guest lecturer at St. Tikhon’s and St. Vladimir’s Seminaries. Juliana is dedicated to fostering beautiful, healthy singing in choirs of all ages and skill levels.
