Making Flower Arrangements from your Garden

4:00-4:45: Get an overview of which plants are well suited for our climate, perform well in the garden, and are long lasting in arrangments.

4:50-6:00: Join Carol Aldridge, Master Gardener and floral designer. Carol owned a florist for over 30 years where she made arrangments for every occassion. She will teach you the principals of floral arranging including designing for the intended location, selecting containers, and choosing the right flowers. She will walk you through the basics design principals, then put together a sample arrangment. After completing the class youshould feel more confident in your ability to construct floral designs using proper form and balance.
