Get social at this workshop for adults where talking is as important as looking at and making art.
About this Event

Lead artist Naomi Kendrick, together with artist assistant Helen Newman, will introduce a process of exploring ideas and creating art. Please expect to stay for the full three hours which includes breaks and refreshments (or feel free to bring your own).

This month we will be taking a closer look at Suzanne Lacy's Uncertain Futures exhibition and research space.

During this workshop we'll be heading into the gallery spaces to look at art together as a group. We'll get to experience art from the perspective of other people and contribute our own thoughts if we want to (but no pressure!)

We'll reflect on what we've seen and try out art materials to make our own art, or you can work with someone else if you prefer.

*This workshop includes audio description which supports blind and visually impaired people to participate. We aim to make our programming at Manchester Art Gallery open to all so please email after you book if there is anything in addition we can do to support your visit such as a sighted guide, British Sign Language, or an interpreter.
