About this Event

Our goal is simple: to improve the lives of older adults living in Bath and North East Somerset by addressing the various challenges they may face.

How will we do this? By helping to enhance public services and transportation, improving outdoor spaces, health services, and housing, and fostering community support.

But we can't do this alone. We need your insights, experiences, and perspectives to guide us. We’re launching our new Ageing Well survey to gather data from individuals aged 55 and above so we can better understand the current landscape, identify key areas for improvement, and lay the groundwork for our action plan.

Join us on Tuesday 18th June at 1-4 pm in St John’s courtyard (4-5 Chapel Court, Bath, BA1 1SQ) for a special event including:

  • Food and drinks
  • An exhibition featuring local charities
  • Taster session from St John’s activities programme
  • Local speakers, including Age UK’s CEO Simon Allen and St John’s CEO David Hobdey
  • and most importantly, an open forum for you to share your thoughts on how we can create a more age-friendly environment.

Your participation is crucial as we work towards achieving Age Friendly status for Bath and North East Somerset.
