Paneer is a fresh farm-style Indian cheese, made from cow or buffalo milk. It is a non-melting soft cheese made by curdling milk with an acid, such as lemon juice. In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to make fresh homemade paneer by curdling milk; how to press your paneer and cut it into cubes; and then how to incorporate this paneer into an authentic North Indian dish called shahi paneer. As an extra bonus, Sandeep and Nalini Agarwal will show you how to make a delicious mango lassi. We will end by feasting together on shahi paneer, cumin rice, garlic naan and mango lassi. You will take home the paneer you have made and a hand-out on how to make paneer with more paneer recipes.
