About our Facilitator, Mona Moor | Chair de Pinceau
"My makeup journey began in 2012 with a 6-month course at Adace Beauty School while I was still in high school. In 2015, I completed a 2-year program in makeup and skincare, earning both national and international diplomas (INFA : International Federation of Aesthetics and Cosmetics, recognized in Canada). I also hold certifications in René Furterer hair care and gel nails. But pieces of paper aren't always important, it's the experience.
In 2016, I pursued further training in France, earning my third makeup diploma and completing a special effects masterclass. While I specialized in artistic and creative makeup, I fell in love with the elegance of soft glam.
Today, I work in luxury bridal makeup using premium brands and recently received my first Canadian certification. I’ve also had the chance to work across various industries:

- Independent films
- Runways
- Photoshoots
- Festivals
- Children’s events
- Wedding
- Magazines
- Fashion shows...
I’m incredibly proud of my journey and growth, and my goal now is to share it all with YOU. I want to be the instructor who helps your makeup last all day, looks flawless, and makes you feel confident in your own hands."

As part of this commitment, we will be requiring masks for those attending. We ask that all attendees wear a high-quality mask/respirator (KN95 or better) to increase the safety of our space. We will have extra KN95 & N95 masks available for anyone who needs one!
Please note: Our model will be unmasked during the demonstration, however they will have taken a Plus Life test before the event to reduce the risk as much as possible.

☆ The Grove is wheelchair accessible, with an elevator to access the space.
☆ Accessible gendered (unfortunately) washrooms on site.
