Scholar & Scribe Bookshop will debut its new Audiobook Walking Club at the Makers & Music festival. Participants will gather in front of the shop at 3 p.m., download and begin listening to the same audiobook (purchased through the bookshop’s Libro.fm storefront), and take a 30–45 minute walk around Trilith—passing the lake, Piedmont Wellness Center, and Trilith Live—before returning to the shop for refreshments and fellowship. Designed to feel like a running club with a literary twist, the walk invites book lovers to listen together, connect with one another, and share in the joy of community. Listeners will have the option to continue with weekly group walks or listen at their own pace and join for a monthly end-of-book discussion. Visit ScholarandScribe.com to learn more.
