Make, Document, Present: Connect Creativity With Research Through Maker Events
Learn the basics of Java coding by creating and testing your own Minecraft mods! In this hands-on workshop, you'll write simple Java code and see your changes come to life in Minecraft. No prior coding experience is needed—just bring your creativity and curiosity. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops, but some will be available. Open to college students, staff, and faculty, this in-person session is a fun and interactive introduction to coding through gaming!
