About this Event
Do you work in the intersection of arts, technology, entrepreneurship, and science? If so, you’d be a perfect fit for Artisans Asylum’s Maker Mentorship program!
In partnership with the Cummings Foundation, Artisans Asylum presents Maker Mentors, a volunteer mentorship program that connects adult Makers with young artists, scientists, and entrepreneurs.
Take this incredible opportunity to give back and share your passions with the next generation of makers!
During this informational session, we will review the program's details, including the application process, the program timeline, and expectations for Mentors. Our team is eager to answer your questions and provide you with the information you need to determine if you want to participate in this program. We are excited to see you there!
At Artisans Asylum, making means something different to everyone. It’s about harnessing technology to bring your ideas to life. It’s about developing an entrepreneurial skillset so your passion can become your career. And to many, it’s about building community and embracing creativity in all its forms.
Here, we understand the value of getting hands-on experience and personalized support while expanding your skills and mastering different tools. We are excited to offer special thanks to the Cummings Foundation for supporting the launch of Maker Mentors.
Through our Maker Mentors Program, we connect youth and young adults, ages 12 to 25, to experienced makers who help them develop new skills and embrace their creative passions.
The maker mentor and mentee will commit to working together for at least eight hours a month over one year. At the beginning of the partnership, they’ll collaborate with Artisans staff to determine target goals for the lifespan of their mentorship.
