Bringing warm festivities to the table this holiday season Maker’s Mark introduces a medley of culinary collaborations that celebrates the changing of warmer to winter seasons in every tipple and pairing. Synonymous with winter is the Red Winter Wheat from Kentucky USA a key ingredient in Maker’s Mark which results in a soft and sweet flavour profile of the whisky. Aged in new charred American White Oak barrels Maker’s Mark is sweet and balanced with vanilla and caramel notes.
Meatsmith presents six cocktails made with Maker’s Mark across its two outlets in Little India and Telok Ayer. All are priced at $18++
At Meatsmith Little India indulge in a cocktail trio that are a festive twist on whisky classics. Calm your senses with the Festive Old Fashioned where bergamot aromas of earl grey and earthy notes of cinnamon open up to the caramel flavours of the bourbon whisky. Revel in the soothing floral aromas of chamomile and vanilla notes of the bourbon whisky in Chamomile Highball all uplifted by joyful effervescence for the perfect Christmas drink. Finally end off with the Coffee Boulevardier a 1920s whisky classic with a twist. This cocktail delivers intriguing depth and warmth with the spiced caramel notes of the bourbon whisky uplifted by the complex and velvety flavours of the premium Kenyan coffee.
At Meatsmith Telok Ayer indulge in cocktails that are bright and fruity. Surprise Swizzle is a festive delight for the sweet tooth. Indulge in a complex harmony of fruity flavours from strawberry and grapefruit balanced by the sweet caramel and vanilla notes of the bourbon whisky. In Indecent Elevation Maple and cinnamon come together to create a unique and complex aroma in this festive take on a classic whisky sour. The velvety texture makes for a great cocktail to sip on throughout the evening. The Christmas Fashioned is sweet and floral with delicate citrus notes. Warm your senses with this festive cocktail that is reminiscent of a Christmas fruit cake.
