Make your own inspired Tin Art Collage with Thomas Graham at ARTworks Vass!During this all-inclusive class on Saturday, Jan. 18th from 1:00 until 5:00, Thomas will share his extensive collection of tin and metal, while providing all of the necessary tools and instructions for creating your own Tin Collage. You'll learn best practices for selecting raw materials, how to deconstruct cans, tins and other metal objects, the art of layout and design, safe tool usage, attachment methods, and finishing techniques.
Thomas will cater to your needs… from those who never worked with metal to more seasoned metal artists. Beginners are welcome and those age 14 and older are encouraged to join him in the classroom.
Thomas uses brightly colored metal that would otherwise be destined for the landfill in his Tin Can Collages. His finished pieces may reflect his love of nature, birds in particular, or may take a deliberate turn toward the more abstract as he incorporates the graphic highlights of a variety of carefully curated printed tins and cans.
Space in this class is limited, and reservations are highly recommended.
Please note that while supplies are included in the cost of this class, you are invited to bring a pair of work gloves and a few of your own prized tins, cans, and other metal parts and pieces to incorporate into your finished originals.

Beginners are welcome.
Children age 14 and older are welcome to attend class independently.
At ARTworks Vass, you're always welcome to bring your own Nibbles and Sips to class. (Bonus points if you bring extra to share!)
Registration allows for one Guest per class project.
Only Registered Guests may attend class.
Registrations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
Class starts promptly as scheduled.
Dress to mess or bring an apron.
