Join professional silversmith Lauren (Lunare Creations) for a beautiful day in leafy Warrandyte, crafting your very own custom sterling silver chain necklace. This workshop is beginner-friendly!Lauren will demonstrate and guide you through the entire process of hand-fabricating up to 50cm length of chain from recycled sterling silver wire, where you can personalize every individual link to your liking. You will learn and be shown skills such as sawing, hammering, shaping and assembling, with a demonstration of the soldering process. There is also the option to create a personalized tag or charm for your necklace!
Once your chain is assembled, Lauren will demonstrate the soldering and finishing process, which will completed for you in the week after the workshop. Your very own chain necklace will then be ready for you to collect and wear forever and ever <3
All tools and materials are provided on the day, plus a vegan/gf friendly lunch and refreshments! Bathroom is accessible.
Energy exchange asking: $250pp
This covers the cost of the materials, tools, silver, labour and lunch provided by Lauren.

No silversmithing experience is necessary. The skills you will learn will involve reasonably fine motor use and minimal grip strength. If you require glasses for reading or short distance vision then bring them with you.

Silver used is entirely recycled sterling silver, sourced from Sydney Australia. It is safe to wear in water and for extended periods of time. Care instructions will be given on the day.
