You've all admired Pam Manwill's homemade sketchbooks, right? Well, guess what--we will be making our own sketchbooks as taught by Pam!Here is her description of what we will be doing and what we need to bring:
Want to destroy a book to create your own sketchbook with a cool title? Join in on the fun, but first you'll need some supplies.
1. A book (from the DI, your own library, or a friend) that you can tear the guts out of.
2. art paper (watercolor, sketching) to replace the guts.
3. scissors, pencil, glue. You may want a razor blade or exacto knife to help with getting the guts out.
4. decorative paper to put on the inside covers- front and back.
I'll bring some show and tell books that show you different styles of binding the pages together. Keep in mind that a title that suits your sketchbook is a personal choice. I look forward to seeing what you come up with. -Pam
