Sashiko Pin Cushion with Caroline Barley, Friday 5 September 2025Join Caroline to create your own pin cushion decorated with Sashiko stitching. Made using a clever 3D construction by hand or on your sewing machine you will then embellish your pin cushion by hand with a range of sashiko patterns.
You can use stencils designed by Caroline and available at Tudor Rose Patchwork. Work with the stunning and traditional indigo blue and white colourway or choose fabrics to coordinate with your sewing room. Use everyday whilst crafting or alternatively give as a gift.
Caroline's samples are 6 and 7cm. The design can easily be adapted to make the size you wish. The fabric used is a washed linen. You can use your own choice of fabrics, patterns and colours The decorative threads are sashiko threads and Perle 5. Everything is available at Tudor Rose Patchwork.
