About this Event
Make your own personalized Solar System based on a specific date
What you'll do:
Join us at Drinking Horn Mead Hall for a Creative Astronomy Craft Experience where you'll hand-make your very own Solar System based on a date that holds special meaning to you. Whether it's your birthday, anniversary, or any other significant day, you'll get to design a miniature version of the Solar System that aligns with that specific date. This could be a one-of-a-kind gift or keepsake for yourself or a loved one.
I will have your specific solar system chart printed out a so you can easily make your unique solar system. All materials are included. I'll also share some astronomy fun facts and Native American night sky stories.
Flagstaff is home to Lowell Observatory, where the planet Pluto was discovered in February 1930, precisely 95 years ago.
