Love oysters? Love pottery? Join us for a unique, beginner-friendly oyster plate pottery workshop. Perfect for seafood enthusiasts and creative minds alike, this hands-on workshop teaches you how to design, handbuild and paint your own personalized oyster plate or individual oyster dishes from clay.
What you'll experience:
- Something to sip on: Your choice of pour from a selection of Break Rock Brewing's beverages to sip on while you sculpt.
- Hands-On Instruction: A 1.5 - 2.5-hour hands-on pottery workshop led by a friendly host
- Pottery 101: A 2.5-hour pottery workshop covering all the pottery basics—no prior experience needed
- Step-by-Step Guidance: Our expert instructor will guide you on how to create and decorate with ceramic paint, your own oyster plate or dishes
- Paint Your Pottery: Add your own creative touch—choose from a variety of colors to make your oyster plate truly yours
- All Materials Included: We provide everything you need - clay, tools, and materials - plus, we’ll glaze and fire up to 3 pottery pieces in a white or clear glaze to make them waterproof and food-safe
- Take Home: Firing + glazing of your pieces so they are foodsafe and waterproof, and ready for pickup at the studio 6-8 weeks after the workshop
