Austin Kiln Club is now offering mini workshops so we can get together and play with clay. We will be hosting folks in our cozy home studio a few times a month. These mini workshops are opportunities to try out something new in a casual setting in a quick, easy, and simplified way.
This week we will be making illustated jewelry dishes with commerically printed underglaze transfers. These cute little dishes can be used to burn incense cones, display crystals and herbs, hold favorite trinkets, or just spruce up your space.
Students will start with leather hard slabs of clay and then cut, smooth, and transfer their way to a totally original creation. Pieces will be glazed, fired, and available for pickup in 2-4 weeks.
Beginner friendly. No previous ceramics experience needed!
BYOB friendly. Bring a friend! Pottery nights are great for dates too.
