About this Event
Maybe you’ve seen this recipe's more famous cousin, the croquembouche, traditionally served as a wedding cake in France. It’s a pyramid or tower of choux puffs, each one filled with pastry cream, dipped in caramel and decorated with spun sugar. None of the elements of croquembouche are complicated, but here's a simpler, but no less fun, version that will wow your friends! This is a great activity for any special occasion - includng the upcoming holiday season. In this class, you'll learn:
- how to make the choux pastry base
- how to pipe or scoop the puffs evenly
- how to make Chantilly cream for filling the puffs
- how to make fondant for topping the puffs
- how to assemble the "pièce montée"
Each attendee will take home their own choux puff tower.
This class requires at least 12 people to run.
***Please note – no refund for cancellations made after December 4th 2022. Tickets are, however, transferable to another person after that date.

As participants will share the items they bake at their station in small groups with other class participants, masks are strongly recommended during the hands-on cooking part of the class.
