Hand-build your own ceramic mug in this 3-hour class! Students will learn how to roll out clay, imprint with texture, and build a mug. You will pick a finish glaze from provided samples. Mugs will dry slowly and be kiln-fired and glazed by the instructor. The mugs will be brought back to the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen after the firing is complete. If you require your mug to be mailed to you, please let us know before the class.
Students should bring the following to class: Any item that you would like to use to texture your mugs. Susan will have texturizing tools for students to use as well.
All materials are included in the tuition.
