Join us for a cozy, hands-on winter morning of candle making, coffee, cocoa, and community. On Saturday, January 31 from 10:00 am to noon, we’ll gather to learn how to make and decorate rollable beeswax candles that you can take home and enjoy.Along the way, we’ll share a bit about Candlemas, a Christian tradition that celebrates light, hope, and new beginnings as winter starts to turn toward spring. You do not need to know anything about Candlemas or church to enjoy the morning. Just come curious and ready to create.
All ages are welcome. Expect warm coffee and cocoa, delicious donuts, friendly conversation, and a relaxed space to try something new together. If you’d like, bring your finished candle back on Sunday morning to be blessed during worship.
A $5 donation is suggested to help cover supplies. We’d love to see you and share the light with you.
