Create a drum that you learn to build and customize yourself! You will learn and do every aspect of frame drum making and will come away with an amazing one of a kind drum!
Choose from a variety of available hides: goat, deer, horse, water buffalo or calf skin. Inquire if you want another type of skin not listed.
2 sizes to choose from, 16" and 22" diameter hoops!
Paints, feathers, shells, beads, thread, and more included for decorating your drum and beater!

This workshop will take place on Saturday and Sunday 1-3 pm. Please plan to attend both dates: January 17th and 18th, 2026.
On Saturday we select and prepare the materials, create a vision for your drums, connect in rhythm and assemble your drums.
On Sunday we decorate our drums, add any finishing touches, build beaters, and learn some rhythms and playing techniques to bring out the powerful, unique voice of your new DRUM!
Participants will be invited to attend our Shamanic Frame Drum Circle on February 21 free of charge!
