Join Tanja and Verena for a straightforward 2-hour Riverside Education workshop on making Swiss-style hard cheese, which ripens in just weeks. With years of cheese-making experience, your tutors' 'no fuss' approach focuses on simplicity and enjoyment, making it easy for anyone to create cheese at home. You'll sample pre-prepared cheese, make Paneer, and learn tips from esteemed cheese-maker David Asher who stayed at Riverside last year.
The session in our commercial kitchen includes demonstrations and hands-on activities, providing a relaxed and engaging experience.

Please note that we will be using Riverside Milk which is RAW milk and may not be suitable for everyone's consumption. The Ministry of Primary Industries advises the following: ‘Raw milk may contain microorganisms that can causeserious illness. To reduce the risk of illness, raw milk should be heated to at least 70 degree Celsius for one minute. This is critical for infants, young children, the elderly, pregnant women and people with weakened immune systems.’
