About this Event

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Assemble bags of summer boredom buster activities for kids in crisis receiving services from Old Pueblo Community Services. Kid Volunteers will also create “Have a Fun Summer” cards to include within the bags.

WHY IS THIS WORK IMPORTANT:

This volunteer project benefits Old Pueblo Community Services.

OPCS is on a mission to end chronic homelessness in Tucson by providing housing, counseling and support services for individuals + families in need.

KIND NOTES:

This is an indoor and in-person volunteer project.

All supplies will be provided.

A takeaway snack will be provided for the Kid Volunteers at the completion of the project.

Stay tuned for additional details to help you prepare for the day!

WHY YOU'LL BE ASKED TO PAY A FAMILY REGISTRATION FEE:

Our small family registration fee enables Tucson Family Volunteers, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to offset volunteer costs for this event. These fees are non-refundable. If you have to cancel your registration later, please know that your fee will go toward our efforts to create more give-back kindness projects for our kids, families + non-profit partners.

KIND NOTE: If you would like to participate in a Tucson Family Volunteers project + need assistance covering the registration fee, please email us: [email protected]. We will handle the registration fee. We want volunteering to be accessible to all. ♥
