About this Event
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Kid Volunteers will work together to assemble summer art kits for children whose families are new to American. These families receive support services from Tucson nonprofit organization, Owl & Panther.
Kid Volunteers will also write sunny summertime notes to include within the bags!
WHY IS THIS WORK IMPORTANT:
This hands-on volunteer work will benefit Owl & Panther.
Owl & Panther's mission is to inspire + support refugees. They use expressive arts, including outings within the community, to help refugees and New Americans heal and embrace their new life in Tucson.
KIND NOTES:
Our volunteer event will take place in a meeting room at Woods Memorial Library.
A takeaway snack will be provided for the Kid Volunteers at the completion of the project.

WHY YOU'LL BE ASKED TO PAY A FAMILY REGISTRATION FEE:
Our small family registration fee enables Tucson Family Volunteers, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to offset volunteer costs for this event. These fees are non-refundable. If you have to cancel your registration later, please know that your fee will go toward our efforts to create more give-back kindness projects for our kids, families + non-profit partners.
KIND NOTE: If you would like to participate in a Tucson Family Volunteers project + need assistance covering the registration fee, please email us: [email protected]. We will handle the registration fee. We want volunteering to be accessible to all. ♥
