About this Event
Using decorative stained glass, youβll learn to cut, grind, and solder glass pieces, turning them into a beautiful suncatcher of your own design. This class is a fun introduction to working with glass and will give you a chance to see how this medium fits with your creative interests.
Class fee includes glass and all supplies to complete one suncatcher approximately 6" x 6".
This 6 hour class will be held on two consecutive Saturday mornings, July 20th and July 27th, from 9am to 12pm each day. Ticket purchase covers both evenings.
General safety protocols: Safety will be covered at the beginning of class, but please wear closed-toed shoes for this class. Eye protection will be provided and required during grinding and gloves will be provided for glass handling.
Instructor Bio:
Theresa Hutchins has been crafting with stained glass for nearly 20-years. She became a professional artist in 2005 opening Solace Glass Studio. Through her studio, Theresa has participated in Arts Walk and sold both commissioned pieces as well as gallery art. Theresa especially enjoys sharing her passion and teaching others the craft of designing and building stained glass art.

- 6 calendar days to 2 days before class start date: Refunds, minus a 10% service fee, will be issued in the form of a credit voucher to be applied to a future offering within 1-year of the issue date.
