About this Event
Step into Central Brooklyn’s first “Make People FEEL” workshop, inspired by Octavia Butler and curated by HomePlace Studio and Harmonie Studio.
Together, we’ll practice radical joy, inclusion, and hope, using speculative fiction as a tool to imagine healing, collective care, and liberatory futures.
Living in 2025 Brooklyn means navigating endless social and environmental crises. How can connection, play, and imagination help us anchor in possibility, rather than past harm? How might Bed-Stuy become a node in Intelligent Mischief’s Archipelago of Black Utopias?
Join us for creative exercises, collective visioning, and a short community walk, and help shape a future rooted in joy, care, and radical possibility.
Who Should Attend:
Community members, artists, organizers, and anyone ready to feel, imagine, and co-create a more liberatory Brooklyn.
