In collaboration with the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs, Sawyer Yards & Arts District Houston are excited to participate in Make Music Day on Wednesday, June 21,2023.
Make Music Day is a celebration of music and community taking place on the longest day of the year, with free concerts on porches, patios, and in neighborhoods across the city.
This unique experience called, “Homegrown: Houston StrONG,” will feature local Houston musicians, dancers, and artists. Guided by Social Movement Contemporary Dance Theater, walk through individual silos taking in a variety of music genres including; Country, Tejano, Zydeco, R&B, Hip Hop, House/dance, Christian, Rock & Roll, Blues, and Jazz as you are immersed by dance performances and visual arts.
This event is free. An RSVP is required.
Food + Drink will also be available on site for purchase.
