Enjoy a day filled with music and visit various food trucks—come hungry and be ready to grab a drink or a bite to eat!Make Music Waterbury is part of the international Make Music Day movement, which promotes free, community-wide, outdoor musical celebrations in hundreds of cities around the world. This festival takes place annually on June 21—the summer solstice—in more than 800 communities globally.
Make Music Waterbury will showcase musicians of all skill levels and feature music from every genre. Sidewalks, parks, front porches, and public spaces throughout the city will serve as stages for local artists to perform and for everyone to enjoy. We invite everyone to participate in this global celebration of music, whether by performing, providing an outdoor space, appreciating live music, or volunteering. It’s all about celebrating the love of music!
