9-11a DJ Purple (the duke of House) has been spinning House music for 30 years [2024 is his 30th year anniversary]. His brand of music is best described as "Organic Dance Music": a "classy" combination of commercial hits and "hot" underground records compiled in such a way as to maintain a ‘total club experience’.
5-6p David Sherman & Den Studevant
David is a singer, songwriter, and house singer at The Green Mill. Ben Studevant is a Brazilian guitarist and signer, who recently received a Fulbright for Brazilian guitar studies.
6:15-7 The Lucky Trikes
We are happy to have the Lucky Trikes return to Touhy Park for their unique mix of storytelling and chamber band. They perform for groups of all ages. Each story time includes well-known and award-winning books, improvised and classical music, original stories and songs.
