Sensory bins are powerful tools for hands-on exploration and early learning. They invite children to scoop, pour, squeeze, and sort materials in ways that feel natural and meaningful. Through sensory play, children strengthen fine motor skills, explore early math concepts such as measuring and sorting, and build language skills as they describe their discoveries.Baby, it’s cold outside! Join us for our February Make It, Take It, where teachers and families will design and assemble a Winter Wonderland Sensory Bin using insta snow and a variety of engaging materials. Participants will explore items that spark creativity, imagination, and curiosity while learning how sensory play supports child development.
This interactive experience is a perfect opportunity to learn, play, and create—while discovering new ways to keep little hands busy and growing minds engaged during the winter months.
