Did you know that mental illnesses are as common as silver cars or brown eyes?EMERGE Lakeland is pleased to welcome the Peace River Center to present Make it OK, a community campaign designed to help make it okay to learn, talk, and share information about mental health in our community. The goal is not only to increase awareness of the many of mental illness and stigmas surrounding them but also to empower people with language and ways to have impactful conversations about mental health in the workplace and their daily lives.
Breakfast pastries will be provided by Born & Bread Bakehouse. We encourage you to bring a friend to learn more about the Make it OK campaign and how to create a cultural shift towards positive and productive mental health conversations.
