Hand Built Pottery WorkshopJoin the ATX Kiln Club at Figment Creative Labs for an evening of casual pottery fun! During this hands-on mini workshop, we will be practicing a really fun and easy surface decoration technique called ‘sgraffito’.
Hand built tumblers will be provided along with multiple colors of underglazes. Students will decorate two tumblers by painting them with underglaze and then carving or scratching away images, patterns, or lettering into the surface.
All tools and materials provided. Students will be able to make 2 tumblers each. Additional tumblers can be purchased during the event for $10 each.
Pieces will be fired after class and available for pickup within 1-2 weeks. As always, workshops are BYOB friendly!
