In this class, youll learn essential woodworking techniques as you create a custom mallet—a tool thats both practical and beautiful. Guided by experienced instructors who are passionate about woodworking, youll gain valuable insights into selecting the right wood, shaping and assembling components, and applying a durable finish to enhance both the look and functionality of your mallet. No matter your skill level, our Woodworkers Malate Class welcomes beginners and seasoned woodworkers alike. We provide all the materials and tools youll need, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable learning experience. At Rockler, we believe in fostering a community of craftsmen who share a passion for woodworking. All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases.
