Our classes and workshops are the perfect “unique” alternative to a material gift or “stuff” for any occasion! A spring time classic! This is a must for any gardening enthusiast or a gift for those who are! In this class students will select beautiful hardwood turning blanks and two garden tools of their choice. You will learn the basics of turning, specifically turning the handle portion of the Rockler Garden Tool Turning Kit (included in class.) Experienced and non experienced woodturners alike are all welcome in this class! All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions Apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases.
