Today is the day you invite nature into your yard with a personally built bird house designed to create an inviting home for native birds (specifically Bluebirds, but works with most native birds). In this class you will use a table saw, band saw, and router to template out the pieces and assemble them together to create the birdhouse. Finally a finish or paint will be applied to the birdhouse to create a unique birdhouse just for you. This class is a comprehensive 6 hour class with a 30 minute lunch. Spots are limited, be sure to sign up early! All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions Apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases.
