Come learn to build and pour your very own live-edge river tray. This TWO DAY class will teach you how to prepare a small live-edge walnut slabs, building molds, leak control, clamping, and epoxy mixing, tinting, and pouring. Students will return during the next week 7 days from the first class to un-mold, plane, and sand the table to an excellent luster, then apply finish and polish there final product. The final tray dimensions will be roughly 18” x 12” x 3/4”. This class is a comprehensive 3 hour class. Spots are limited, be sure to sign up early! All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases.
