It is said “the pen is mightier than the sword” and in this class you will forge your own mighty pen. Starting with the choosing process each student will choose from a selection of woods or acrylics that best fit their needs and wants. From there each student will learn to trim and square up their pen blanks, and start to turn. A professional instructor there to answer any questions you may have during the lesson as well as guide you through the design process. At the end of the class you will walk out with your very own personalized and hand crafted pen of your own making. This class is a comprehensive 3 hour class. Spots are limited, be sure to sign up early! All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases.
