ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:Learn how to curate a well-balanced healthy morning treat for yourself and the whole family in this hands-on workshop with Crabtree’s own Chloé Watts! The class will begin with a brief overview comparing and contrasting different blenders before demonstrating with the top recommended blender to achieve a perfectly smooth consistency. Participants will have the opportunity to blend and try 3 different delicious smoothie recipes (berry, tropical, and alkaline green)! A deeper dive into the ingredients will help you understand how the vitamins packed into this breakfast drink can fuel you throughout the day!
Participants will get to sample approximately 3oz of each of the 3 smoothies made during the workshop and take home the recipes used, along with a few other tips and suggestions! Ages 12+ are welcome to participate. *Almonds will be used – be mindful if you have a nut allergy!
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:
Chloé Watts is the Volunteer & Education Coordinator at Crabtree Farms. She began curating smoothies for herself and husband in 2020, endeavoring to take more intentional health efforts amidst the pandemic. That initial step in the journey led to becoming a passionate gardener, enabling her to grow seasonal produce such as berries, pawpaws, ginger, watermelon, peaches, and plums to add into her smoothies! Chloé is enthusiastic about health and incorporating fresh produce in her daily diet for optimal nutrition and vitamin absorption. Her goal is to share all she has learned with others to promote thriving, healthy bodies that can better achieve all we pursue to accomplish!
