Cost: $39 ($30 for UMKC Staff in recognition of Staff Appreciation Week)


Explore Maria Vasquez Boyd’s collection of Mexican Folk Dolls (1940s-1960s), currently on view, and consider how clothing and accessories tell stories. Then design and make your own art figure or creature with a unique story!


This workshop will be led by Boyd, visual artist Sue Moreno, and writer Miguel M. Morales.


Art supplies, wine, and light refreshments will be provided.
