Join us at The Clubhouse, War Memorial Playing Fields, Chagford for a fun event where you can Make an Upcycled Xmas Jumper!
Get into the festive spirit with Proper Job and Recycle Devon and create your very own Christmas jumper! Experts Sara Halsey and Susan Breedijk will show you how to upcycle an existing sweater into a festive masterpiece! Whether you are a crafting pro or a complete beginner don't miss out on this opportunity to sustainably update your Christmas wardrobe!
If you can please bring along a jumper or cardigan that you would like to upcycle, a hole or two or bit of wear doesn't matter, the garment will be treated to a whole new lease of life! If you don't have one suitable please contact [email protected] with your size and we can source one from the Resource Centre for you.
The workshop runs from 10am -1pm and is suitable for anyone from 8yrs up. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult please. No experience is necessary and all equipment for decorating is supplied, however if there is something specific that you would like on your jumper (e.g flashing battery operated Christmas lights!) then please do bring them along.
Booking requires a nominal donation of your choice to secure your place.
The Clubhouse is situated at the War Memorial Playing Fields - from Chagford Square head down Mill Street and the take the left fork onto Manor Road. At the bottom of the hill take the track on the left and follow the drive up to The Clubhouse. There is plenty of free parking.
