About this Event
Anyone can make a zine! In this all-ages-welcome workshop, create a small book using a single piece of paper. Your zine can be a how-to guide, an art book, a list of your favorite foods, or anything else you can think of.
We'll begin by talking about what a zine is and sharing different zine formats. Then, get creating! We'll have collage materials, markers, stamps, and more to create your booklet. Browse our zine collections to get ideas!
All ages are welcome. We ask that students under the age of 12 have a ticketed adult accompanying them.
About your instructors
Emily Donnel (she/her) is pursuing her passion of teaching by offering crafting, sewing, and nature classes in and around Woodinville. As a life-long Woodinville resident, she feels strongly connected to the community and the beautiful forests that define the area. When not teaching, she can be found reading, gardening, walking with her dog, and supporting local community projects like Save the Hooven Forest.
Rebecca Jordan (she/they) is a speculative author and artist telling stories about the natural world and exploring alien ones. She is a watercolor artist, illustrator, science writer, zinester, and experimenter. In her free time RJ draws bugs, cuddles her cats, gardens, and makes weird stuff.
