Learn to cut, texture, polish and solder sterling silver into a beautiful set of rings!
Get ready to unleash your inner creativity and make a stunning set of textured rings with our exciting 'Trio of Rings' class! Not only will you learn a new skill, but you'll also leave with some beautiful jewellery that you can wear with pride.
Hosted in our brand new unit at The BIS on Whitby Street in Hartlepool, our bright and warm studio space offers the perfect setting for your jewellery-making adventure. And with just a quick 2-minute walk from the train station, it's easily accessible for everyone.
We provide everything you need for the class, including all materials, a hot or cold drink, and a tasty snack to keep you fueled up as you work on your designs. Plus, with limited spaces available, you'll receive personalized 1:1 time with our knowledgeable tutor, ensuring you get the most out of the experience.
If you're new to metalworking, don't worry – our class is perfect for beginners! You'll learn the fundamentals of ring making, including measuring, cutting, texturing, soldering, and polishing your ring. Starting off with copper, you'll quickly move on to sterling silver, creating three stunning rings that you'll be proud to show off to your friends and family.
But don't worry about getting too hot under the collar – we take particular care when using the blowtorch, making sure everyone feels comfortable and confident throughout the class. Our tutor, Carley, is an experienced and passionate maker with a background and university education in Applied Art including Ceramics, Silversmithing, and Textiles. With her expert guidance and support, you'll be amazed at what you can achieve in just a few hours.
So why wait? Book your place today and start your journey to becoming a jewellery-making pro! If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us via email or our Facebook page. We can't wait to see you in our studio!

We've got some super important class info for you!
First off, let's talk logistics. If you're joining us on a weekend or evening, please note that there won't be anyone in reception. Instead, you can find me in the foyer 10 minutes before the class starts, where I'll be there to greet you and get things started. And if for any reason you're running late, just pop me an email at [email protected].
When it comes to getting here, please use the front entrance of the building. And for parking, you'll find spaces available at the Dover Street car park next to the building. Just make sure to check the signage for details on parking fees. And remember, there are permit zones on Whitby Street between 8am to 6pm, so be sure to read the street signs before you park. You can't miss the building, it has large white signs on the front!
Now, onto the fun stuff! Safety is super important to us, so please make sure to wear suitable clothing for the class. This means clothing that covers your legs and shoes that cover your feet (no sandals allowed!). And if you have long hair, don't forget to bring a hair tie. Scarves, ties, and loose clothing can be a fire hazard when working with the blow torch, so we want to make sure you're all set!
We'll be providing snacks, hot and cold drinks during the class. If you have any dietary requirements, just let us know beforehand and we'll do our best to accommodate you. And in case you're wondering, our studio equipment is fully vegan-friendly, meaning we don't use any leather or rawhide tools.
Lastly, if you're making rings as a gift, we've got ring sizers available in the studio for you to measure one of the recipient's existing rings!
We can't wait to have you in our class! Just remember, if you need to leave by a certain time, please let us know so we can keep an eye on the clock sometimes if we're having lots of fun, the class can run over a little bit! See you soon!
