Stop Catapult Attacks in Orpington – Join Us on Sunday, April 6th Priory Gardens in Orpington has become a hotspot for catapult attacks on wildlife, with incidents happening multiple times per week. At the time of writing, in the past week alone a squirrel has been seriously injured, another killed, and a greylag goose was pulled from the lake with a metal ball bearing embedded in its body.
Over the years, countless animals have been maimed and killed, sometimes suffering for days on end with horrific fractures, wounds, and missing eyes.
This violence isn’t just affecting wildlife—people, pets, cars, and businesses in the surrounding roads have also been targeted. It is out of control.
We need the community to take a stand. Join us at Priory Gardens at 1:30 PM on Sunday, April 6th, where we’ll be distributing leaflets, speaking to the public, and raising awareness. Our goal is to encourage everyone in Orpington to stay vigilant, look out for these attacks, and report them to the police.
Together, we can put an end to this cruelty. Spread the word and be there.
Meet at the Main gate to Priory Gardens, by Carlton Parade, at 1:30 PM.
