
About this Event
This workshop is for absolute beginners who want to learn the basics of stained glass while turning their very own design into a sun catcher. Students may work from a selection of designs or work with the instructor to develop a design that fits within an 8x8 inch square. This workshop will cover how to cut and grind glass to fit a pattern, apply copper foil, and solder the glass together using the Tiffany technique. All materials and tools are provided, you need only bring your curiosity. Each student will leave with a finished and ready to hang stained glass design.
No previous experience is necessary. This workshop will includes lunch in our historic dining lodge.
About the instructor
Korina Oswald is a glass artist and educator based in Seattle, WA. Her work centers on community-driven projects that bring together artists from around the world. Korina is also part of Fremont Antique Glass, a traditional mouth-blown sheet glass studio, where she continues to explore the intersection of technique, craftsmanship, and collaborative artistry.
