Make a Shelf Slug in a Ceramic Sculpture Workshop with Robyn Smith

Join Robyn Lynn Studios in a fun workshop to design your own Shelf Slug! This two-day workshop for adults and teens will teach you the fundamentals of ceramic sculpture, while sending you home with your own adorable little buddy!

• This is an entry level, teens ages 16+ and adult workshop

DAY ONE

📅 Sunday, March 9

⏰ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

With clay, you will create one (or several) slugs using traditional coil and pinch methods. We’ll talk inspiration, techniques, and slug facts. They will then go into the kiln for a long hot rest.

DAY TWO

📅 Sunday, March 16

⏰ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm (until you’re finished)

Choosing from a wide variety of glazes, you’ll decorate your lil buds. We’ll talk glaze mixing, more slug facts, (I’m full of them), and clever responses if someone says “ew…slugs!”

Your slugs will be fired once again to glossy perfection. You’ll be able to pick them up at Cocoon Art Space a week after the 16th. We will contact you when they’re ready for adoption!

To receive a refund, cancellations must be made no less than 7 days before the event.
