About this Event
Calling all you noodle-lovers — create a slurp-worthy ramen bowl that speaks to your broth-loving inner child using natural materials, colored clay and plaster molds.
In this 2.5hr class, we’ll teach you basic handbuilding techniques that anyone can learn, including
◦ “slumping” and stretching flat clay slabs over round molds to create a bowl
◦ how to build a sturdy base using clay coils and a few simple tools
◦ decoration using texture, stamps, imagery and handmade stencils
No experience necessary! All materials and glazing/firing are included.
Bowls will be fired and glazed to your glaze of choice, bowls are ready to be picked up 15 days after the class.
