ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
In this workshop you will learn about the craft of making a neon and also have the chance to make your very own neon, that will be finalized and sent to you after the course.
The workshop will last 2 days, and will take place at Lobster Gallery. Ilyan Dimitrov has more than 15 years of experience of neon making, and he will individually guide and help everyone one in the course. You will have the chance to submit your own design, or use one proposed by us.
After the workshop is over, we will collect all neons for finalization and we will send them back completed to each participant 2 weeks after the workshop.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO PREPARE?
You should submit your design at least 1 week prior to the workshop for evaluation of its complexity. The design can be submitted in a static image file (Jpeg, PNG ).

AGENDA
The workshop will begin at 11am on Saturday. We kindly invite all the participants to arrive at 10:30 so that we can start on time.
The first part will be introduction to theory, and video / live demostration of the neon bending technique and how to work with the glass tubes. Everyone will experiment before we proceed to the actual neon making.
There is 1 hour lunch break at 13:00, and a 20 min coffee break at 16:30.
The workshop leader will be following everyone individually and help in the process to make sure tha each one will arrive to the best result possible within the workshop duration.
Sunday begins at 11am, and we will be entirely working on the neons of each person, for the full day.
