In this class we will learn easy, basic mosaic skills of applying broken tiles to a surface, grouting, and sealing, with an emphasis on good technique and pleasing design. Each participant will take home a beautiful mosaic-framed mirror.This class is TWO sessions: 4/21 (6-9 pm) & 4/23 (7-9 pm)
About the Instructor (Miriam Graham): I’m a long-time Moab resident, and when I’m not out hiking or gardening or playing Irish music on the concertina, I love doing all kinds of crafts, especially ones that use recycled materials, like fabric scraps, piano ivories from old piano keys, broken plates and old clay pots. Sharing creative skills in a group is one of my favorite things to do. If you like jigsaw puzzles and don’t mind getting dirty, you’ll definitely enjoy making a mosaic!
