Make a Mold: Casting Your Finger in Plaster

Learn the basics of mold-making and casting in this hands-on intro workshop. We’ll use skin-safe alginate to make a mold of your finger, then pour plaster of Paris to create a detailed cast. Along the way you’ll learn the essentials of mixing, timing, and demolding skills you can apply to larger and more creative casting projects later.

No experience needed, and all materials are provided. You’ll leave with your own cast and a solid understanding of how molding and casting works.
