Legit Kit Classes are held Every Other Saturday. Before Your First Lesson: Participants pick out and pay for their Legit Kits and the fabrics that go with their kits. We have a variety of Legit Kits in the store, but our selection may be limited due to customer purchases. Participants can always purchase their own kits online, from Legit Kit, and bring their kit to the lesson.
Need Help Picking Out Your Fabrics? Kathy, our instructor, is available, by appointment, to spend two hours helping you pick out the fabrics you will need for your kits. Most of these kits require a minimum of 40 different fabric colors. Kathy will assist you with picking out fabrics that will go well together and fit with the overall aesthetic of your project. There is a $10 per hour fee to have Kathy assist you with picking out your fabric colors.
The Two Hour Class 3:00PM-5:00PM: The store will be closed during the class, which allows participants to spread out their work and not be interrupted by customers in the store. During this class Kathy will help participants learn how to organize and construct their kits. Individuals who have already begun working on a kit, but need help on a portion they are working on, may also come to this lesson for assistance.
The Cost for Kathy Assisting you with picking out fabric is $20.
The Cost of the Two Hour Class is $20.
Space for this class is limited so participants must sign up 24hours before the scheduled class.
